W50CH is a low power station that broadcasts to the riverbend. They carry mainly faith-based programming and currently broadcast over the air in analog and on Charter station 21. Many years ago the station used to broadcast the games to the riverbend courtesy of Joe May, however the station has agreed once again to start broadcasting local area sports games. Starting around Thanksgiving of 2011, they will also start broadcasting their signal in HD meaning anyone with antenna and an HDTV in the riverbend will be able to pick up that signal broadcast over the air (OTA). Just as channel 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 30 and 46 brodcast OTA, so to will channel 50. The channel will stay the same on Charter, no need to re-scan. However if you want the best quality HD has to offer, you will want to get the OTA receptoin.

You will need to re-scan the stations that your TV picks up. This is a good idea to do frequenetly anyway as stations currently ad more stations to the lineup, for example ABC 30 currently has 30.1 but also broadcast the cool tv 30.2 and the country music station 30.3.
