BALANCED ATTACK LEADS WOMEN’S BASKETBALL SQUAD PAST ILLINOIS TECH, 72-47

(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 14)—The McKendree College women’s basketball team ran its season-opening win streak to three games with a 72-47 victory Tuesday at home against Illinois Institute of Technology.

THE MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM DROPED A 97-74 DECISION AT PARK UNIVERSITY TUESDAY.

(PARKVILLE, Mo., Nov. 14)—The McKendree College men’s basketball team had its two-game win streak snapped with a 97-74 loss Tuesday in non-conference play at Park University.

McKendree's football team lost to two of the 16 teams involved in the National Tournament by a total of 10 points. Number three St. Ambrose by seven and number nine St. Xavier by three.

Sarah Ryan scored the game-winning goal in the Bearcats' NAIA national tournament win vs. Siena Heights

(OLATHE, Kan., Nov. 15)—McKendree College kicked off the 2006 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship with a 2-0 victory.

(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 14)—The McKendree College volleyball team went down with plenty of fight Tuesday in Liberty, Mo., dropping a five-game thriller to William Jewell College in the quarterfinal round of the NAIA Region V Tournament. The host Cardinals took the match by scores of 28-30, 31-29, 27-30, 30-19 and 15-6.

We are planning in addition to broadcasting McKendree men's basketball to also air women's basketball. We will present archived streaming video of the basketball teams, hockey and wrestling. The videos will be seen on this page.

Congratulations to the winningest college basketball coach (4 year schools) in the nation, Harry Statham. Harry's had a street on campus named after him. It is Harry Statham Drive. He also has the gym named after him.
