Beginning new year's day residents of the riverbend will be able to watch local high school sports on TV once again. Any of the 20,000 Charter customers residing in Alton, Godfrey, East Alton, Wood River, Roxana and Bethalto can tune in to Charter channel 21 and watch. Residents as far away as Jerseyville and Collinsville will have to wait until W50CH is finally switched from analog to a digital HD station broadcasting on 50.1. At that point in time a channel re-scan antennaweb.org may be required on your HDTV to pick up the over the air broadcast and of coarse if you don't already have one connected you will need an antenna hooked up to your HDTV.

If you see RiverbendSports at the game that night then you can watch it the next day at 5pm mon-fri and 11am sat complete with play by play announcing.
